Educational Excursion for Grades 9–12

Learning Beyond the Classroom at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Brigade Meadows

30th July 2026

At National Public School, JP Nagar, we believe that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom by connecting academic concepts with real-world experiences.

Students from Grades 9 to 12 recently visited St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Brigade Meadows, where they gained firsthand exposure to the functioning of a modern healthcare institution. During the visit, students interacted with doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and the administrative team, providing them with valuable insights into hospital operations, patient care, healthcare management, and the role of advanced medical technology.

The excursion also introduced students to sophisticated diagnostic equipment and highlighted how medical professionals work together to deliver quality healthcare services. These interactive sessions helped students better understand the importance of healthcare systems and the dedication, teamwork, and expertise required in the medical field.

The visit encouraged scientific curiosity, strengthened critical thinking, and broadened students’ perspectives on career opportunities in medicine, healthcare, and allied sciences. Experiences like these inspire young minds to connect classroom learning with practical applications and make informed choices about their future.

At NPS JP Nagar, we are committed to providing experiential learning opportunities that nurture knowledge, curiosity, and confidence while preparing students to become informed and responsible global citizens.
