World Conservation Day
28th July 2021
“Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet”
The main reason for celebrating this day is to conserve animals and plants that are going extinct from the natural environment. To ensure the well-being of the present and future generations, we all must as responsible human beings participate in protecting and conserving our nature. The day recognises that a healthy environment is a key foundation for a stable and strong society. Every individual must take charge in protecting the environment from conserving nature and all-natural resources.
With the intention of today’s theme, we at NPS involved students in many activities like Virtual Forest Walk, Bird Feeder, Best out of Waste, Nature Art Collage and so on.
Together, we need to work towards a sustainable world to ensure a safe present as well as future. The Earth sustains us and we must not cause any harm to it but preserve it for our future generations. Happy World Nature Conservation Day!
