Van Mahotsav Celebration

The Students of NPS, JP Nagar celebrated Van Mahotsav day on Friday, 9th July 2021. The students were encouraged to plant at least one sapling each. The importance of this week was shown by a PPT presentation. Pre-Primary kids drew 2D drawings and made yummy mango shakes. The students were also motivated to help each other in making this world clean and green. Van Mahotsav is an annual tree-planting movement in India which initially began in 1950. The festival raises the awareness of trees among people and highlights the need for planting and tending trees as one of the best ways to prevent global warming and reduce pollution.
