February 28 marks National Science Day every year. The day marks the discovery of the Raman Effect by renowned Physicist C V Raman. The students of grade 1 to 9 celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm as they demonstrated various experiments such as Surface Tension experiment, Air Pressure, Chemical Reactions where students observed how elements react to form products, observation of different cell organelles under the microscope, invisible ink, making sugar rainbow using 5 different colours of water with sugar, Oxygen Extinguisher, transmission of light and some more were conducted by the students. Experiments help teach students to be more observant and inquisitive. The students had a great time as they explored new things which will help in the development of skills such as observation, recording data, drawing conclusions, making decisions and solving problems.
