Janmashtami celebration

It is one of the oldest festivals of the subcontinent. Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth human incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who was born at midnight on the ‘eighth day’ or the ‘Ashtami’ of the holy month, Shravana, according to the Hindu Lunar calendar. Janmashtami is celebrated with much fanfare across the world. Fasting, praying, and celebrating the Lord’s birth at midnight: the festival’s unique, spirited customs have come to define the delight associated with it.
Fancy dress competition was held for the tiny tots of grades 1-3.The little children dressed like Radha and Krishna, showcased the mischief and naughtiness of Lord Krishna and grabbed the hearts of the audience leaving them mesmerized.
