International Women’s Day Celebration

The event was conducted in 2 sessions – the First Session had participation from mothers of students studying in Grades 1-10 and the participants of the Second Session were mothers of Pre-Primary students.

The arrival of the Chief Guest, Ms. Vandana Suri, marked the commencement of the eventful day. The Chief Guest along with Principal, Ms. Aracha Sinha lighted the auspicious lamp accompanied by a beautiful and thoughtful prayer by the students following which the Guest was felicitated by Principal Ma’am. In her address, the Chief Guest threw light on her journey as the founder of Taxi Service “Taxshe” and how her venture is helping other women gain confidence and be secure while travelling. She emphasized and motivated the audience to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

The ‘Retro Themed Ramp Walk’ by the participants set the stage on fire. Some showcased their cooking skills in ‘Cooking Without Fire’, while others tried their hand at a ‘Memory Game’ and ‘Just A Minute’ Contest. ‘Best Out of Waste’, ‘Musical Puzzle’ and ‘Nail Art’ were some other events organized for the day. The sports enthusiasts in the audience competed in the Basketball, Shooting and Table Tennis games.
Winners of all the competitions were felicitated. The enthusiasm of the participants was a sight to behold and the day marked the celebration of the uniqueness of each woman.
