Ganesha Chaturthi Celebration

May Lord Ganesh give you – A rainbow for every storm, A smile for every tear, A promise for every care, and an answer to every prayer!

Festivals build group cohesiveness, bring people together, break the monotony of routine, and energize the body, mind, and spirit. Echoing this festive spirit, the Pre-primary students of NPS JP Nagar celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much zeal and zest in a special assembly. Ganesha is the first to be worshiped among all the gods in Hindu mythology. He is known as the God of prosperity and wisdom who removes all hindrances, bestows happiness, and spreads peace.

The special assembly commenced on a spiritual note with the chanting of the famous Ganesh shloka by little kids of pre-primary. The little Ganesha took turns and spoke about the festival and its significance. The keen toddlers presented the importance of the moral qualities of devotion and obedience, synonymous with the attributes exhibited by Lord Ganesh towards his parents.

The little dancing star rocked on a Ganesha song which added splendour to the entire assembly. The spirit of festivity and fervour permeated the virtual festivities. The little kids saw the rousing chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya!

Later, in their respective classes, the children crafted beautiful activities. The festival awakened devotion, creativity, understanding, and learning amongst children.
