Gandhi Jayanthi

2nd October 2020

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2 October across the country to render reverence to the father of the nation and to commemorate his birth anniversary. Gandhiji’s sacrifice, efforts, non-violence policy and struggles has given us independence from the colonial rule of British.

We at NPS offer him respect not just for his work also Bapu’s philosophy, his quotes have inspired us to live in peace and harmony. As a tribute, we along with our tiny tots celebrated Bapuji’s birthday with great gusto, starting from the famous song ‘Raghupathy Raghava Raja Ram’ to ‘Sabarmathi Ke Santh’.Our journey consisted of narrating the real life incidents of the great personality as a child to being the father of our nation which was followed by an incredible Art session by our pre-primary students. It was indeed a pleasure to watch the tiny hands create Masterpieces of Gandhiji’s Portrait during the art session. It was heart-warming to watch the little feets dance to the tunes of ‘Sabarmathi Ke Santh ‘ song.

NPS wishes everyone a very Happy Gandhi Jayanthi
