Father’s Day Celebration

Daddy you are strong and tall,

Stay by me and catch me whenever I fall.

Batman, Spiderman and Superman there be,

I look up to you as my Superhero to be.

I will follow your steps, wherever you go,

You are my pride, Daddy do you know!

The students of National Public School, J P Nagar in order to make their fathers proud and pay filial respect and gratitude celebrated Father’s Day with great enthusiasm. The children were excited to have their fathers with them for the fun. The celebration took off with the game of Bombing the City, where the children became the cheerleaders for their fathers. The occasion turned out to be amusing and exciting as the fathers played the games like Table Tennis, Frisbee Catching, Basketball Shooting and so on. The fathers were also given an opportunity to relive their school days as they participated in the fun activity of pick and speak, some of the topics they spoke on were -How to look intelligent? Daddy is the boss, until Mommy gets home, We panic when our phones fall but laugh when our friends do and so on. The principal congratulated, wished the winners and distributed samplings to them.

It was a celebration honoring the fathers and fatherhood and the influence of fathers on the child in particular and the society in general. The entire occasion was rejuvenating and full of joy excitement and made the fathers feel special.
