Disaster Management Awareness Program: “Safety First – Be Prepared, Not Scared!”
The Social Science Department recently organized a comprehensive Disaster Management Awareness Program to educate students and staff on various types of disasters and equip them with essential response skills to minimize risks in emergencies.
The program covered both natural disasters—such as earthquakes, floods, and cyclones—as well as man-made disasters. Informative exhibitions showcased disaster causes, impacts, and preparedness strategies, while students actively contributed through presentations and projects on disaster mitigation.
This initiative played a crucial role in fostering a safer, more resilient school environment, ensuring that the school community is well-prepared to respond to emergencies with confidence and awareness.
