Covid Safety and Awareness Programme
6th July 2021
Masks have become an integral part of our lives, be it to suppress the transmission of viruses or save lives; the usage of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide an adequate level of protection against COVID-19.
Let us minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our community by taking simple protocols, such as physical distancing, wearing a mask, keeping rooms well ventilated, avoiding gatherings, cleaning our hands more often, and coughing into a bent elbow or tissue.
Here are the basics of how to wear a mask:
- Clean your hands before you put your mask on and after you take it off, and after you touch it at any time.
- Make sure it covers your nose, mouth and chin.
- When you take off the mask, either wash it if it’s a fabric mask or dispose of it appropriately in case of a medical mask in a trash bin.
A successful #initiative was implemented to create an awareness on COVID-19 by NPS, JP Nagar. Children learnt to develop safety skills and had amazing hands-on activities like 3d paper mask-making and drawing masks. It was an eventful day at NPS, JP Nagar.
