Constitution Day is celebrated annually in India on 26th November. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution in India.The document lays down the framework demarcating fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles, and the duties of the government and citizens. It is the longest written constitution.It gives an insight into the aggregate of fundamental principles or established precedents that constitute the legal basis.
We at NPS, JP Nagar intended to highlight the importance of Samvidhan Divas by organising different competitions to students at various levels like colouring the Ashoka Pillar or Red Fort, to draw and colour the Parliament House or Vidhana Soudha. Speech to give an understanding of our rich constitution. The students of Grade IV drafted their own constitution to recognise their responsibilities. Map was explained highlighting the importance of different places of historical evidence and the students enacted as famous political personalities or influential people of Indian politics.
The aim of observing the Constitution Day was to bring in responsiveness among the students who are the nation builders of tomorrow.
