Independence Day Celebration

This year our school has ensured that the fervour of patriotism lives on, and shifted our Independence Day celebrations online. The ceremony began with speech by the Principal. The guest of honour on this auspicious day was Dr. Aditi Mohan, Rtd Major General, Indian Army who has served the nation in two different dominant wars in Indian history. She hails from the Army background and the entire family is dedicated in serving the nation. Our dear guest emphasized on the importance of patriotism and nationality. She rooted the thoughts of serving the nation in the little minds and guided the members present there with her invigorating words of wisdom.

The students despite being in different homes displayed their devotion towards the nation which was noteworthy. The students participated in drawing competition based on the theme ‘Independence Day”. Apart from this quiz was conducted based on our rich history and heritage, expression of patriotism and cultural activities were conducted for parents too. The winners of the competition were recognised. The program ended with the National Anthem.
