Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, a healthy diet can help one to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer, and promote overall health. Nutrition is the most commonly spoken topic as far as health is concerned, thus, one should keenly focus on the importance of nutrition, types of nutrition, diet and nutrition myths, what to eat, what not to eat, and nutrition supplements.

DT. Silky Mahajan, founder and nutrition expert at Foods & Nutrition Clinic, Bangalore engaged the key members (principal, teaching, non-teaching, administration, students and parents) of NPS JPN on the importance of healthy living, age wise diet plan, how to deal with infections, importance of exercises, sanitization and cleaning methods in the prevailing conditions, safety rules to be followed at home and school and also guided on first aid in case of minor injuries. She answered all the queries put forth and gave an insight to a healthy living. On the whole she enriched the fellow audience on the value of nutritious food and healthy living.
